I'm a chartered psychologist, Captain in the British Army, certified systems coach and an existential and child psychotherapist. I have undergone a range of trainings and qualifications, including the NHS Top Manager Programme, Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, ICP-SYS' Systems Coaching training, NSPC's Leadership training, and a range of UN and military leadership and community engagement initiatives. My doctorate in psychology involved research on alienation and identity under extreme stress.
I divide my time three ways - cognitive warfare work within UK and NATO, resilience and management development work with organisations, and clinical work with clients and supervisees.
I've written about psychotherapy, children's mental health and cognitive warfare for publications like Aeon, UnHerd and Small Wars Journal. I have lectured internationally and widely, including Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and universities in the UK and abroad. I am active in research, and have presented and published my work at the World Congress of Existential Therapy, Society of Psychotherapy, British Psychological Society, University of Bristol, Breaking Convention, the Hermeneutic Journal and Society of Existential Analysis.
My cognitive warfare work can be found at talkframework.com. Please email for further information.
