Drawing on over 10 years’ experience working as an Occupational Therapist, children and young people's mental health specialist and Acceptance and Commitment Coach, Cat Taylor offers wellbeing coaching for young people aged 10-25. Based on the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Positive Psychology, these 1:1 sessions will equip your child with evidence-based tools and techniques to support them through life’s challenges.
All work starts with a free 30-minute consultation to explore the main issues along with best hopes from working together. Cat then offers an initial six 1:1 sessions on a weekly basis either in person or online via Zoom. Sessions are structured with solution focused questions, therapeutically-informed tasks and thought experiments, enabling clients to explore life’s challenges, gain insights and develop emotional literacy skills in a relaxed, engaging and sustainable way. At the end of this course of six, you review together how things are going and what, if anything, might feel like the next best steps. Cat also provides a mini-intervention PDF pack, with handouts of all the strategies and techniques you've used along with suggestions for how they can be integrated into everyday life, thus making the work you have carried out as sustainable as possible.
The full coaching package costs £500 and includes the initial consultation, six 50-minute sessions, post-session handover and mini-intervention pack. All follow up sessions are priced at £65 per session.
